The book of Joel - "To you, O Lord, I call”
This Advent season we will be studying the book of Joel during our Sunday morning Bible class. Joel is a short Old Testament book that deals with themes of repentance and the coming "Day of the Lord." In this way, the message of Joel is very, very similar to the preaching of John the Baptist. It is fitting encouragement for us during our Advent preparation!

Current Study
Lies the Devil Tells Us.
We are looking at various ways the devil lies - and he ALWAYS lies (John 8:44). Some of the lies lead us to sin; other lies keep us trapped in sin. Our goal in this class is to expose the devil's lies and stay aware of his tactics. In Christ, we find daily forgiveness and strength to battle the devil's lies.
Senior Bible Study

General Epistles of the New Testament
(James, 1,2 Peter, 1,2,3 John and Jude)
Every Thursday, beginning September 4 at 11:00am in the lower level of the GS chapel. We will be reading and discussing the General Epistles of the New Testament (James, 1,2 Peter, 1,2,3 John and Jude) using the Northwestern Publishing House book from the People's Bible series. Participants are not required to read out loud! Contact the church office to reserve your copy ($19.00). This class is open to all senior members of Living Hope. If you have questions, please contact Pastor Kneser.
Jesus Cares: Special Needs
Time: 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. 6:30-7:30PM
Place: Classroom across from the Mother’s Room. Or Zoom.
Did you know Living Hope Church has a Jesus Cares program? Jesus Cares is a ministry of Kingdom Workers. Jesus Cares is dedicated to spreading the eternal hope and joy of Jesus Christ through faith-based programs tailored for individuals with disabilities. At Living Hope Church, our Jesus Cares program is in a Bible study format.
The Bible study has a devotion, Bible story, craft, song, and prayers. We meet the first and third Monday of each month, from 6:30-7:30pm in the classroom across from the Mother’s Room. We also offer a Zoom option.
